1980 XS1100 LG (Midnight Special)

here it goes again but I would like some help that is some what to date
I want to put a side car on my 1980 XS1100 LG. I want it wright. My Wife has
said that she would like it safer, less tip
We are 60 and 59 and I still want to ride
and take trips with her. I need some HELP
