    Could someone in the know please have a quick scan of this rebuild kit and let me know if it has all that i need to do my '81's carbs this winter? Aside from the long hours, beer and swearing of course.

    Tkat brace, new coils/wires/plugs, refurbed carbs (thanks 81 xsproject), recon'd top end, windshield (thanks dpotter58), resprayed tank and panels, 4-1 exhaust, sweet xs pod filters, in line fuel filters, progressive springs, thick hand grips, jumped headlight relay.

    eBay kit is correct, but know not about jets/pilot needle in kit.

    Most of the time only need seat/float needle and gasket.

      Hi Si,
      hard to tell if they're the right ones from the tiny photo but if they are, yeah, that kit'll do it.
      Like mro sez, you might not need all new jets but OTOH, if the screwdriver slots on the existing jets are damaged, you might.
      While you have got the carbs apart, take each and every Phillips head screw in the carb rack and bin them. Replace them with Allen head screws. The best $5 you will ever spend.
