    Today I took my first real legal ride on my XS for about 60k. I am proud to say that I am hooked. What a great bike. So comfortable and easy to handle. We are going to have a nice loooong relationship

    It still needs to be dialed in a little bit though.

    When I pass 1/3 throttle the engine revs jump higher but no gain in power. What could be causing that. I know this bike has more power than that.

    Thanks for all your help ovver the last couple of years I have had this bike. today is a special day.

    Sounds like your clutch is slipping. Mine did that as well at fist when I got it. I adjusted the clutch mechanism by removing the cover cover plate, loosening the locking nut, and turning the screw out about 1 turn, then retightening the locking nut.

      That was it, what a difference, I can now tickle a little more of the throttle, a lillt emore fun to drive today.
