How can I lower My XS1100

how can I get my bike lower ? I have short legs and have trobol reching the ground with a flat foot have to use my toes only need an inch or two whoud do it

Hi Bear,
once you have fitted shorter rear shocks and let the fork tubes up through the 'trees to get your backside closer to the ground you durstn't lean the bike over too much because things will start to drag when you do. And like John sez, the sidestand is now at the wrong angle and the centrestand is too long for easy use. Now if triple-soling your riding boots don't help, think about cutting the seat down rather than lowering the whole bike. Build a new fiberglass seat pan that hugs right down on the frame, make it narrower than standard and put a thin layer of good quality foam on it.
