  • fuse help???

I am replacing my fuse box with a blade type fuse box because they are so much easer to find. I want to make sure that I am putting the correct fuses in the correct locations. I looked in the repair manual and it shows the box but no what amp fuse goes where. Can someone go look at there bike and the wire color and tell me what fuse goes with what color wire. My box has been replaced before so I don’t know if my fuses are in the correct order so please verify wire color and fuse amperage.
    Wire color chart
    RED RED
    BROWN RED/YELLOW
    BROWN BROWN
    BROWN RED/WHITE

    Example:
    RED 10 RED
Just enter the fuse amperage in between the wire color please.
    Thank you for your help

    Hi,
I have an XJ but I think they are similiar. Except my Red/Red is Blue/Blue
They all are 10 amp except the Brown/Red-Yellow which is 20 amp, that is your signal lamps.

Just looked at them last weekend but do you think I could remember. I have the coloured diagram at home, can pull out and let you know if no one else has by then.

But I'm pretty sure its as follows

      Red 30 Red for main
Brown 20 Brown for turn signals
      Brown 10 Red-Brown for Headlight
      and
      Brown 10 Red-White for ignition.

That's for my 79SF, and its based on memory.
