well i have read on here most people don't like flatsides for regular driving. i have seen new ones for 700 bucks on oldbikebARN. they are 33mm so they are smaller in diameter so has anyone tried them for daily use or is it just a concensus that they would not work good. i am how much power do ya'll think would be lost on the bottom end?
i am not tryign to cause any disagreements, i am just curious what is actually known about how they respond on an xs or xj?
    thanks

I've got a set on my hot rod XS.
Have no idea how they would preform on a stock or near stock motor...
They can be "tuned" for just about any motor tho.

On my stock XSes the OEM carbs preform very well.
For some reason my 80G seems to have more power than the 79' specials.
