  • Caliper kits

Anyone know another good source for front caliper kits for Specials? Partsnmore is out of stock!! I've got all the parts to replace my rear brake assembly (thanks for the rotor Andreas!) since the caliper fire put it out of commission. I've been riding with only my fronts, but it's time to rebuild ALL the calipers and put some new pads in all 3 of them. I can get everything except the front kits from Partsnmore...any ideas?

Do a search on Ebay for that number.

    Georgefix sells them on Ebay.

They also sell the pads, in sets of 2 or 3, if you wish. Just let them know what you need and they willput them up as a buy-it-now auction for you.

I bought the petcock repair kit for my Virago from there, and Derwat bought carb holders. We both bought all new brake pad sets from Georgefix.

So far all the parts have been great.

      caliper kit

Hi, oldbikebarn.com also lists your caliper kits. Are your calipers leaking or do you have other issues?

No leaks...but I don't know if they've ever been gone through. 27 years old, as far as I know
