  • Colored Gauges

I was just wondering what kind of lighting the gauges used, and if i could get into them and change the bulb color. Also, how much extra juice does the battery pump out for accessories?

Look in the tech tips for TC's LED gauge conversion. I have done it and use orange in mine. They are ten times brighter, use way less juice, and last forever.

Here's The LED Gauge light mod thread that Jesse was talking about.

I had made the first part of this into a tech tip, but the other parts which actually show the LED bulbs for the gauges and tail light/license plate light were NOT in the tech tip!

BTW, The RED one for the gas low fuel light didn't work, because it was ON all the time, but the high beam and neutral light works just fine. Hope it helps!

PS, there are several tech tips that are NOT linked from the left hand yellow column, so scrolling down from the MAIN FORUM PAGE to the tech tips is useful for finding and viewing the newer ones!
