    I power washed my bike at the selfe car wash and it back fired out of the right bank all the way home and whood not idol and lack power what happen? my frends wash there bikes this way all the time. the bike was running great before I washed it.

    Electrics, ye got the electrics wet.
    Could be bad spark plug caps. Could be bad wiring. Could be anything.
    Give it a day to dry and she'll be alright.
    But, if she's tempermental when washing, might have a problem in the rain, too.
    Check plug wires and caps... check all wiring.
    Now then...
    When washing the bike, like with a power washer of sorts, stay away from under the tank, under the seat, the instrument box, the wheel bearings, behind the side covers, etc.

      I power washed MY wheel bearings...came out ok. Got rid of all that nasty black stuff that keeps oozing out, and used some 3-in-1 oil to stop the squealing.

      Next, I'm gonna use some JB Weld on the drain plug to fix a small leak..
