I don't want to be a (Dick) if you know what I mean, but I have the final solution for speeding infractions in my wallet and it's not money if you know what I mean. Of course I would only use it as the final solution as I would hate to get locked up out of state, plus Attila hates tow trucks, if you know what I mean.

Dan...to be an ex LEO you sure do talk like a trouble maker!

Flash thanks! At TeXSive this spring the High Priest Of Temple Eleven even commented on the Console and cluster. I think he actually liked the idea for a rigged out full dresser.

But alas Dave Jackson stole the show with his "beyond perfect" '78E.

Your welcome Maximan, Also was going to ask you about your tricked out saddlebag job! I know that those are bags off of a yamaha venture. What year venture did they come off of. I would love to do a saddlebag set up like you have even make a mount so that I could install the top trunk off of a venture with the backrest for the wife. Ive been looking at possible mounting options. Would love your input on that custom job of yours.

I think I've posted some photos around here somewhere of how I fabricated the frames. Basically they bolted to the frame mounts under the seat.

I had a piece of 1/16 plate steel bent in an "L" shape. Then I welded a couple "ears" that stood off the "L" frame about 2 inches. These ears bolted to the Eleven frame. The bag sits in the "L" and is bolted to it.

I cut a lot of extraneous weight out of the "L" with a torch to lighten the frame where it wouldn't show nor affect strength.
