  • big bore kit

Well, my XL500r, which I've wanted to rebuild for a long time, needs several hundreds of dollars in parts and repair. I'm going to have to sacrifice the big bore kit I just got to help pay for the repairs.

I put mine on e-bay. It probably won't sell, in which case I'll just do the bike repairs on credit for awhile and use the big bore kit later. If any of you need a kit let me know.

Gary, the pics you did of your piston kit were so good I ripped one off to use in my auction. I'll remove the pic if that isn't okay.

It's a shame I'm the one to put one on E-bay...

I already saw the picture and the BB kit on ebay last night. Just drop me an e-mail if you want to use one of my pictures...had you not had the same screen name I would not have known it was you and I would have been pissed.....cause who nows if the guy really has one if he is using my photo. No problem though, I knew it was you

        bb kit

Thanks for understanding Gary. I don't even have a digital cam, but whatever you used sure made a nice pic. I had a 640x480 one once but it was so crappy I sent it back for a refund. Seems 1 megapixel is the least acceptable for the budget shoppers.

I doubt the kit will sell on ebay. If it doesn't I'll still install it on the bike and just have less to put into my other repair job.
