"Nothing has worked so far. I used the vaccuum pump, looked like all air was gone but first pull felt soft with next two or three pulls on lever nice and firm. The difference between the first pull and the following ones noticable."

    Hi Egsols,
is this every time you hit the brake or every time? If it only did it once and it's solid thereafter, it's fixed. If it's every time there's still some air in there. Try this, some folks swear it works and it costs nothing. Work the brake until it feels solid. Hold the lever pulled and wrap a bunjie cord around it and the grip to keep it pulled. Leave it sit like that for a day and see how it is then.

      Hi Fred,

It's every time. I pull it the first time...soft, next two pulls then good. Leave it for a minute. Pull again soft, two quick pulls good.

There has got to be air somewhere. I'll try your suggestion. I'm also going to try and bleed the calipers with them raised as high as I can get them. I also had a tip to turn the master 90 degrees and let any remaining air bleed back into the res.

Gotta get it done soon, my kid's itching to go for a toot and is wondering why I bothered replacing the stock lines, (that were working), with SS's.

They finally work. I rebled the system with the calipers up high. Also reverse bled using the pistons. Reinstalled everything and clamped the lever after a few pumps.

        All works geat know.

A huge thanks for all the input.
