Brake Light Question

Why does my brake light come on and stay on when I put my bike in the "LOCK" position with the key?

from memory cause mine doesnt work
I think its the tail light that is coming on
its a security feature for nite time parking,
again from memory,
I think u can go to lock and it wont cum on
but u can also go 1 point further past this is,
this is wen the tail light cums on,
cant remember if the front
park light cums on also.
hope it makes sense,
im sure someone else will chime in.

One "lock" position....lights on
Other 'lock" position...no lights
First time I locked my 80G did not notice lights were on,
came back to a dead battery

In the ignition switch, there is a "Park" position just past the "Lock" position. That turns on the tail light and likks the battery. Try it again, just don't turn the key quite so far.
