    Kilometer Speedo

Just wondering what year they started putting KPH speedos on XS11's. Did they have them right from 78 on.

There are lots of replacment speedos on Ebay, but all seem to be in MPH.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

I wouls assume, here in Canada too, but they seem to be very hard to find.

Personally, I prefer the MPH one, even though I am in Canada, but Derwat is looking for one for his special and he prefers KPH.

Here in SA we used to call the the bikes with MPH "pirate"bikes, but that did'nt bother us much because we were and still are realy worried about the rev counter/tachometer,we only keep a working speedo on for legal reasons unless it's a refurbished classic.
