Header wrap

Has anyone used Header wrap on their bike? I am thinking of just patching my holes in the mufflers and wrapping them in Bright yellow Header wrap ( just kidding-going with black) This sure seems much cheaper than new muffs! Any thoughts?

I use the tan header wrap on my custom built dual exhaust from the collectors back to about 8 in from the end of the pipes.
