  • Renaming my bike

I noticed a lot of people have named their bikes, so I named mine, "budget shmudget" acknowledging the nightmare I went through before I realized I needed to do my own wrenching if I was going to own the same bike I had in college as a 3 0year old vintage rather then the brand new bike I remembered.

Now that I have everything running really nicely, I finally let my friends swap with me on our weekend cruiser tour. They all have heavyweight v-twins.

After we swapped one of my buddies mentioned the "pucker factor" of driving such an old tall bike on such skinny tires and having his arse start sliding off the seat when he cracked the throttle and the bike hit it's stride at around 5000 rpm.

So now I'm calling the bike "pucker factor".

"Oooohhhhhh! That'll make your butthole pucker up!" Bad Boys 2. During the car chase on the bridge I think. Good movie! Good name for a bike!
