Engine Guards application...

Hi,

Does anyone know if engine guards from a XS650/XS750 or XJ650/XJ750 will work on my 82 XJ1100?

I find a lot of information on these models and nothing on mine. Just wondering if I can broaden my search and include smaller XS or XJ models as well.

Some will fit with a little work but your taking your chances. I bough a pair made for a 250 cc bike or something real small like that and the holes line up but are not the right DIA. I fixed that easy enough but to mount them I will need some spacers and longer upper mount bolts. They however only cost me 20 bucks, are brand new, nice, neat and small but They will still protect the engine cases in a tip over. I intend to use them on my hop up bike.
