Coil problem! This one's wierd!

    Haven't had a chance to do anything to it yet

    but just for grins.....what part number are the coils from MikeXS.com????????????????

    this is the one I think it is Part #17-6803

      this time checking I found that if I move the coil ~ plug wires around I start getting good spark.....good coils.....bad wires

        Yes, this is good news. Broken pick-up coil wires is one of the most common problems with an old XS. That's why we've got a tech tip for this repair.

          Hey Ken...

          it was the sparkplug wire at the coil, that started making it fire

              Thanks, Ken...........

              I was gonna put new wires in the coils, ordered new one's from MikesXS instead,
              Figured that at least I'll know it's not the coils that way.....
