  • Looking For A Carb Diagram

I just bought a 79 XS1100 Special. I need to clean the carbs and I want to find a diagram for them. Can anyone send me a link for one? Thanks.

This is from bikebandit. It showed a couple choices on the model, so recheck it first. I just picked one at random, although they may be the same anyways.

The schematic in your manual should be pretty good for what you doing. It is very close to what I have found on-line. I am guessing that you have a manual. If not you should get one before you get too deeply into any work on your bike.

This is in the LINKS section, but if you'll go to The Yamaha Online Parts Fiche site
don't worry about registering, etc, just click to the parts section, then MOTORCYCLE, YEAR, Model, and you'll have very good quality diagrams, parts fiche....bikebandits are OKAY but get pixellated when you try to zoom in on them very much, the Yamaha OEM's are better! And you get the REAL part #'s, not BB's substituted ones!
