I have a l979 XS1100 Special. I twisted off the drain plug on the left hand side of the motor right below the timing cover. Does anyone have one?

Hey Bear,
IF you're talking about the bolt at the bottom of this picture, then you've broken the oil galley plug bolt, it's not available from Yamaha anymore!
However, if you're talking about the nut partially showing in the bottom right of this picture, then THAT IS the oil pan bolt, and you should be able to match one up at your local auto parts store!
If the first one, then you'll need to drill it out, and then again try to match one up at the auto parts store, unless someone has one from a donor engine they can get to you? Good Luck!

yes its the oil galley plug bolt it has a o ring on it got the other end out of the bike jest took it out with my fingerComment
