  • need X-tra lighting

Fellows I just don't have enough night light. I've read alot of

the posts on what you can do to get more light---but there has

to be a simpler way to run two more front lights. From what I

gather from the posts its one hell of a job to do it and you still

can have battery drain! The standard headlight just doesn't

cover enough area to safely drive at night. ???????????

      dodjh,
What Mason is trying to say is get the H.I.D. light kit from ebay. It will give you MUCH more light, and uses about 1/2 the amps of a 55 Watt headlamp. It will take a little work to put it in, but it should be worth it.

        DiverRay,

Are you referring to a kit or a system.

        Thanks,

          Another Possibility!

          Hey Dod,

Aside from trying to add Extra lights, IF you're using the OEM headlight lens, then you might want to look into a CLEAR LENS conversion? MikesXS sells these lenses/reflectors for the headlight assembly, and then you can get an 80/100 watt bulb from JCW for it, and you may find that it is bright enough without having to actually run wires, and add brackets and switches and such!? JAT!

Thanks T.C.---I'd like to keep it as simple as possible and that

seems to be a proper way to address it.
