I finally broke down and winterized my bikes over the weekend. But not without a last ride around town to work the stabilizer through. The first bike has a full faring so that ride was like a nice spring day. The second bike has the faring off for electrical cleaning. Man what a difference. I live just south of chicago and that winter wind cut through me like a knife. Anyway, I am trying an experiment with my battery tender plus and both batteries.
I have both batteries hooked up in parallel with the battery tender. The charging light was on for about half a day then turned to green(storage). So far so good. I will let you know how they turn out in a couple of months.
