    OK, here's the thing.

I won a bit on ebay for XS11 TCI for 82$.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1872189499

Since I couldn't place money order for this item, I sent the cash in an envelope via airmail (on the 18.11.2002, 100$ for shipping and the part).
However, this guy won't respond to my msgs anymore (via ebay, I lost his email when my PC crashed). OK, so I got screwed before, but if anyone lives nearby, you have my permission to go nasty.

    The guy's address is:

    Tim Desjardine
    1270 Balsam st #7
    Lakewood CO. 80214
    USA

On the upside, I alredy recieved a TCI unit from a previous-previous-previous-previous owner of my bike, along with some other XS stuff. All I need now is a carb tuning session and a 10 mile ride to give me some extra boost for the winter wrenching-welding-bending-rechroming-repainting session. And if you're interested, I'll even get a few pics of the XS mamoth.
For the unenlightened ones: These bikes were first made bout 30 years ago by a "mad" enthusiast, who put a NSU Prinz (car) engine in a more or less home-made frame and rode it. The term stuck with any bike that had a stock car engine in it. Anywayz, these things cost quite some money these days... (bout 40.000$) and yes, they're huge. The XS looks like a midget in comparison.

      Hey Strom,
Let us know what happens. If this guy continues to diss you then we can all start e-mailing him, letting him know what we think. Hmm...542 members in the group, thats allot of scary e-mail.

      p.s. next time try
PayPal it is safe and easy. Sending real mula thru the mail is always a big risk. He could take the cash and just say, "Hey I never received it" you have no proof.

I bought a set of rear turn signals from him last month. They arrived packed well and in a reasonable time frame. I'm not taking up for this guy, nor do I know him. Given your situation, I'd be VERY pissed also. 'Just my two cents worth.

              Hey Strom,
Thanks for the up-dates. Like Wayne said, let us know when we need to bombard him with those "scary e-mails". We're 100% behind you, bro.

I too got a part from him on ebay, a standard seat. However, I am still waiting to hear back from Chris Rawson about the status of my brakelines, payed for about a month ago.

Just my experience with Chris Rawson.... I ordered brake lines from him and got them. Like you I got a little worried but he came
through. They work great. Like everyone time to time we get behind or side tracked. I nicely sent off another e mail when I got worried and he responded right back. What I liked was he send it to me in a way that it was cheaper for me mail wise. If you read this Chris... thanks again!

I apologize deeply if I go off half-cocked guys - been a rough few weeks for me, just want to make sure everything is kosher.

I am glad some people are happy with Chris and his brake lines. I am tired of waiting and not receiving any e-mails from him unless I send 6-8 e-mails within 2 minutes to him.

7 months is just too long

You sent $CASH$ in the mail? I wouldn't even dare speculate on this one, but the letter may not have ended up where it should have gone.

Eh, well... I know, but it seems we don't have a contract for money order with US and I was pretty desperate.

I got another TCI unit on "loan" for now, but I'll see what happens.
