    Pictures of my new bike!

Here are some pictures of my bike. I purchased it a few weeks ago and have added 1300 miles to the clock.

It is an 80 xs11g. It had 11k on it when I bought it. Bike seems to be in great shape and runs very well. The chrome and aluminum are in surprisingly good shape.

The bags and fairing come off next week after a trip to central idaho this weekend.

My goal is to put 5k on the bike by September 1st.

          Bike Cost

The bike was $1600 purchased locally. It included new plugs and a carb disassembly/cleanup.

Tank has been sealed and it has almost new tires. The seat has been recovered. Probably paid more than I would have elsewhere, but it has been pretty cheap entertainment. Certainly spent a lot less than I would have on the Sportster I was looking at.

The bike has been a blast. Took it to Idaho on a 550 mile drive a couple of weeks ago, fully loaded. Have had more fun on it locally with the bags off. Alot of 2 lane, mountain roads with little traffic in this area.

That would be a good deal at twice the price!
