I posted a while back that my 81 1100H was in a small fire and asked what a couple of wires on the bike were was told one was starer wire that was right was told the other was oil presser but not sure about that one the wire in question runs down and looks like it terminates near the rubber boot for the drive shaft what would that be? thanks for that help and though it will take some time let it be known your helping put another xs back on the road

Yamaha manual that has that year is in the shop.....butterminates near the rubber boot for the drive shaft what would that be?
Right side there is the rear brake light wire.

Found out what the wires are for they ran under the boot and up to the front to the pick up coil governor does anyone here know can the wires be changed out or do I need to change out the whole thing?Comment

Thought you were looking at a single wire....not sure about that one the wire in question
Pick up coil wires (4 of em)
Can be spliced.
