    XS is good machine, shifts hardy, lasts long time!

    XsiveBiker, if you'll scroll down from the MAIN FORUM PAGE, you'll find the tech tips, and in the repairs, Tranny section you'll find several about the Tranny.

    The washer isn't available from Yamaha anymore, so you have to get one from another trashed 11! I've repaired 3 using the Dremmel fix, and once the gears are undercut, they engage and stay engaged very well, and IMHO, the washer move mod isn't really necessary, and IF you're going to go into the tranny, I would do the Dremmel, not just shifting the washer!
