  • Oil Filters...

Is anyone else having problems getting oil filters? My local cycle shop can still get them for 8.95 plus tax, but Autozone and NAPA can't get them. I finally got Oreilly's to order some Fram filters for me for @ 4.50 a piece, but I prefer WIX. Just wondering.. Here's the part numbers I was looking for. They are even on backorder from Partsnmore.com

    STP # SMO-02
    Wix 24933
    Fram CH6002
    Napa Gold series #4933

Not meaning to sidetrack my own thread.. BUT... lol. I was looking around Ebay and saw this. I think they may intend to swim the Pacific ship it by donkey across the Himalayas, then hand swim it across the atlantic and have a bicycle messenger deliver it the rest of the way... Maybe tie it up with nice 24k gold ribbon?? lol..

    $58.00

373 miles from there to here.
Think UPS would be about $12.00 for a four pound package.

These military rain suits are supposed to weigh less than a pound though! lol. I just thought it was funny. You should write him and ask if you can save the shipping charges by picking it up! lol. Gee... whatcha think the answer would be?

          Lots of places...

Cycle Gear, JCW has a new motorcycle catalog and they even carry some parts specific for our XS11's. Just about the same size catalog as their car catalog.
