The 'only' kits I know of are K&L kits, also I think dyno jet makes a kit but you are not suppose to use the pilot jets or something because they are too big. Search here and on the old Yahoo group for more info. Or contact Rob at www.motorcyclecarbs.com and he can tell you what is available in kits. The K&L kits are available from any dealer or Dennis Kirk for $22-$25 each, they do not include diaphrams or floats.

    Good Luck!

Just saw a post about www.partsnmore.com on another list; I looked and they have rebuild kits for our babies for $10.00/each-never seen them as inexpensive, and don't know anyone who has dealt with them, so YMMV, proceed at your own risk, etc. Would have my own experoence with them if I had heard of them a month ago, but I just pieced together a couple of sets of carbs into a workable set.

        a note about K&L kits

If you use the K&L kits, do NOT use the pilot jets provided. I think they are WAY too big for our bikes. I would recommend only using Mikuni brand pilots ($9.99 for four from Dennis Kirk) if you can't recover the pilots already in the carbs.

I am with TSEARS, the pilot jets in the K&L kits should not be used. I readone my carbs on my 81 special, and it ran plug fouling rich. the problem was the new pilot jets. Runs good now!
