    got my order today

    2 new front bearings, new grips, and a new shift lever

    im gonna be changing for front fork seals and one of my bearings is bad, so that will be happening this weekend

    but heres my grips, lever, and a few videos of the different size holes

    You don't happen to have one of those helmets with the mohawk on it too, do you? That would be humorous, I'd think. Removing one to expose another!

      What kind of rear tire is that?

        i think the tire is a 'cheng shei" or something like that

        ill find out and repost later

        sounds good at highway speeds, i wish it sounded a little deeper at idle, but ill still take it for now

          Hole Drilling

          I did that back in 1979 when I got my bike. I drilled four 1/2 inch holes in the end cap as you did but also a 3/4 inch hole down the tube. I welded a series of drills to a piece of rod about 18 inches long and it gave the bike a really nice mellow growl! Best of luck with your 80
