    I have a tensioner in my Box-o-Parts. PM me if you want it. Cost would be shipping and couple extra bucks for an amber beverage.

      I gonna assume the tensioners are all the same? The one I have is off a '79. Sumone chime in here if my ass-sumtion is incorrect.

          Yes, according the the parts microfiche, the tensioner is the same part number (2H7-12212-01-00) from 78 thru 82...

            Sounds like the bolt has galled to the aluminum, ie cold welded itself. ( I hate that when it happens, especially a spark plug in an aluminum head) Really no way to twist it out, has to be drilled all the way to the threads.
