  • Update (with pic)

As mentioned in a previous thread, I managed to get the old girl together and started. Took it for a little spin up the street and DAMN, what a fine machine. Hell of a lot of power, and it just feels terrific.

I'm a headlight and some front blinkers away from getting this baby road worthy again. Can't wait.

As you can tell, the kids rather like it.

That is a very nice looking bike, the lack of parts would bother me some, heck, I would have broken out in hives by this point if I could not ride it. Your biggest problem is going to be your girls. If it was me I would load my shotgun and sharpen my pit bull (or is it the other way around?) My own girl was confused until she figured out that I was running off every one but riders. She now is going with a very nice ex marine. He rides a Honda (sigh) but what the heck you can't have it all!

If there are more than three bolts holding it on there, it is most likely a very important part!

yeah, quite definitely boys... and even at ages 5 and 8 they'd kick your ass for saying that Dragon Tamer.

I'm definitely going to check into Toad's in the next week or so, but I'll try Bruce too. Who's Bruce?
