  • Rear Shock Spring Re & Re

Anyone got any ideas on removing and replacing rear shock springs? I have spring compressors from a strut job I did on the car but the hooks are to fat to get between the spring coils on springs this size.

    Spring compressor

Some where on here someone built a spring compressor built like a shop press and used a small hyd jack. It works because i built one. I have taken 4 shocks apart with it. Just make sure to build a bracket with a pin to hold the bottom of the shock. Maybe someone will sent the link to it.
    Thanks Tom
