Tach Bounce

Hi all. Does anyone remember how to stop the tach from bouncing? I seem to remember adding resistors inline but I can't find the message. Thanks in advance for any helf.

The problem could be mechanical - check out this tip from the forum . Or, it could be elctrical - check out this tip . Either way, this kind of problem can be really frustrating but bear with it.....

My friend Chris Phillips,,alias the Yeti, had this problem and found the solution in bad electrical contacts. YMMV.
