or maybe a question...
I've put the monster on a timing light
(one of those newer ones with a tach built in)
If I understand the "wasted spark" idea the tach will read twice
per rotation
By this I mean that 2000 rpm will actually be the correct setting
of 1000 rpm.
Is this correct...or am I wrong???

BTW... I managed to get out for a ride this past Monday
the monster is running better but...
It runs sweet most of the time, then seems to fall on it's face.
I.E. starts to miss, then will run sweet, then start to miss, etc. etc.
Plan to check the pickup coil wires tomorrow.
