    Valve adjustment !

Hello ! I think I need to adjust the valves on my SG. It looks like a quite easy job,but I have never done it before so I am just wondering if the pads are available in a set with lots of different sizes ? I am thankfull for any good ideas !

Most likely will need only a few shims. May find that one you remove to change can be used to bring another into spec. Price per shim can vary from shop tp shop and a few will except “trade-ins”. Have found em from $5.00 to $13.00 ea..

I use the motion pro valve shim tool and have read about others who remove cams. Ckeck and write dowm all current settings, then as you remove shims can use chart in manual to deturmin proper shim size.

btw, yamaha shop had a kit for about $300.00
