    number 2 carb

    for what ever reason was wondering when i checkspark plug condition . the number 2 plug tends towards a darker more of a sign of to rich a fuel air mix. engine vaccum line there i know. would this be the cause.

    Interesting thought, but I wouldn't think so. I'd try idle mixture screw or float level if you're really worried about it.

      It's not an issue having a slightly dark plug at idle, check it at 50 or 60 mph, then just for kicks, do the 'shut throttle/ hit kill switch/ pull in clutch/ coast to a halt trick again - at 100 mph. Just to check.

        If it's leaking would make it "lean" if anything.
