    Hi...

    I need 1978 XS1100 resistor specifications (the one under the tank, small shiny bugger).

    If sbd measures the thing, I'll buy him a beer next time I see him/her

    According to old posts, it is a 1.5 ohm/10 watt resistor.

      Checked... 1,8-1,9 ohms, diodes seem to be working, but resistor wires (one at least) had torn and cracked insulation, and the wire was partially cut.

      Will check how it runs some time tomorrow.
