wiring behind license

was poking around back there a while ago and found a couple of available bullet connections. are these for turnsignals on hardbag equipped xs's? could they be used for auxiliary signals? if so, do they require a separate ground? thx guys

Yes, they are for the hard bags. Wires can be routed into a bar the attaches to the license plate bracket and that bar extends the turn signals. I do believe there is a ground wire in those pigtails.
