Has anyone got a sight glass for a front brake master cylinder for an xs1100rh. I broke mine while overhauling the cylinder and now im in trouble. Polly.
This guy always has these listed. Will they work for the XS??

Like Todd said, that ebayer has lots of those MC's for $29.99, but didn't check to see if did Int'l shipping?
Perhaps you could take it to a glass shop and have them cut a new piece that you could put back in?? JAT? The parts fiche for the XJ1100 which HAS a sight glass doesn't list a part for it, so it's not designed as a replaceable part!? Good Luck!

Hi Polly,
all my front m/c has is a plastic reservoir that's gone all chalky over the years so you can't see the fluid level through it any more. What's this sight glass look like, where does it go and can you live without it? Epoxy the hole shut?

The Aussie RH and the UK 5K7 ('Sport') bikes are very similar.
The 5K7 front master looks like this..but there is no part listed just for the sight glass
Hi Guys. My mastercyl looks just like the one in Lamrics picture.Think i will glue the glass back in. Should do the job. As long as it doesent leak, then no problem. Regards Polly.
sounds like an excuse to me to test the two part acft epoxy with some brake fluid....... my fuel test is still going good.
I will let you know..... I will test lexan with epoxy on a can tomorrow.....
maybe just use some lexan..... get in good with a plastic shop...... maybe they will let you have some lexan from the scrap bin... that's where I always get my pieces for RC stuff.
