    I was talking about the jet needle . The long needle that goes in the emulsion tube . It it the one that is connected to the slide .
    Goes up and down on accereration ...
    nothing to do with the float ...
    I think that is the warbling issue ...
    I'm still being educated , so might be wrong ...

    These floats are tricky to set I thought . I rotated the carbs to seat the float needle wire on the tang of the floats.That seemed to get repeat measurements ..
