I was wondering how many miles some of you get on a set of sparkplugs.

    a plug for NKG

Put over 10,000 on a set of NKG's. When pulled still looked pretty good. Replaced anyway and bike runs a little smoother.

I would say 10-15K for a set. I use NGK plugs and use both stock heat range and one step hotter depending on the temp here in South Louisiana.

Once you un-can a can of worms, the only way to re-can them is with a bigger can.

I've been running the same plugs that were in the bike when I got it a couple years ago...Bosch +4's. I ride virtually every day, and I'm certain that I have put more than 30k on them. I just pulled them the other day, and they all look good. I'm going to replace them anyway, but I'm happy with the way they've held up.

I usually replace yearly if they need them or not. Have been doing about 5K a year until last year.
