  • beadlocks ????

    this is the first time i have seen beadlocks on my 81 mns with standard rear wheel. i would like to know if i can take them out???

    Mindinght special with a standard rear wheel? Well...OK, the wheel must also be older vintage for wheel locks. Yes, you can remove the wheel locks but it is "risky." Read the posts on the subject. I would rather have the rear blow and come off the wheel than the front. I noticed that someone plugged my rear rimlock holes on one of my model E's.

      You mean rimlocks? It's best to leave them in on the rear so you don't spin the tire and destroy the inner tube...that being said, many of us have removed them including myself.
