    Oil Question

    i know there are 1000's of opinions, but what oil do you think i should use in the xj11oo? i just dont want to hurt anything, but at the same time dont want to spend a ton of money on high performance stuff eaither. any suggestions?

        I know it costs a little bit more but the oil for your bike is still available from your Yamaha dealer.

          Any name brand 10w40 will work fine in the north country. Some say to stay away from the energy conserving oil, might make the clutch slip under heavy acceleration.
          79 F full cruiser, stainless brake lines, spade fuses, Accel coils, modded air box w/larger velocity stacks, 750 FD.
