This grommet is from the right side panel of an SF, it's Yamaha Part Number 90480-01141-00

There's 1,700 photos of XS1100 parts on my XS Part Number Finder website.

      Sorry Lamric

The grommets in the pic are for an 80-81 Special. The 79 SF had the slotted side covers, not the round openings that these fit. However, the lower grommet is like the one pictured.

Sorry if there was any confusion. The part number I gave (90480-01141-00) is for the grommet circled in red. This is used across the models.

Underdog57: The SF side panel is held on by a grommet and two rubber dampers. In case you meant the two dampers (2H7-21717-00-00), this is what they look like .

          Hey Brian ,
Thanks for taking the time to post ..
I can get the grommet , did not know about the dampeners ...
will order them if I can , the left side must take the dampeners too..

Too bad the one owner PO missplaced a few parts , can't complain . Took it for inspection and it passed ..Po put new tires on before I got it even ..

If you can't get the dampeners, you can use some industrial grade cyanoacrylate glue (superglue) and stips of rubber cut from an old inner tube to build up a rubber dampener on the metal tab on the frame. This works as well as the real thing.

I see the parts list has the dampners only on the rear tabs.?
They look unavailable , will do the innertube method ..
              Thanks for the tip !
