I went on about an hour ride the other day, and I almost couldn't stand up when i got done. i used to race bmx, and did alot of street riding. It really took it's toll on my back.

I'll probably be able to get used to it, but I would rather stay more upright and enjoy the ride a little more.

Also I need to get a shorter clutch cable and I feel like being lazy.

They caught my eye because I've been thinking of trying a change, to get a little lower and a little more forward. To get out of the wind a little and to try a different back and arm position.
Sounds like that didn't work too well for you. I love my goldwing bars but kinda want to experiment!

Yeah I was just experimenting too. I liked the position they put me at. Not super low but still out of the wind. Maybe I'll try again later.... anyway oldbikebarn.com sells the same bars the clubman. I think you can get em on ebay too.

Hey Kurt .. .Try the supper bike bars. They only rise about 2 inches and allow you to keep the wind 1/2 out of the way. They are a very good in between choice.

did you have to change out the throttle and clutch cables or brake lines or are they stock.

Another option is to put Protaper dirtbike oversize bars with their mounting kit. They bolt right up, look good, put you in pretty comfortable position and are much lighter than steel bars. Cycle Gear had a good deal on those too. Normally they are $89 and 35 for the mounting kit. On sale they were $49 I believe.

                    Risers

Put a set of risers or dogbones on them K@Ns and that will set you up and still look cool Doug

                      cables

Sorry I havn't checked my amail for a while.

Yes they are the stock cables. The clutch feels bad though. Had to adjust it almost all the way out.
