  • Pics of k&n bars

Just did some work last night. Put on the K&N super bars, and took off all the sissy bar and bags, and lights on the front. I really like the way the bars cup the speedo and tach.

I also finally got my side cover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey ... They look like clubmen style bars and they are usually installed the other way so as to lower your body closer on the bike. Sort of 1/2 way between supper bike flat bars and true clip ons. However I guess you can use them any way you want. If you do decide to try them the other way be sure you have clearance at the gas tank in both directions.

      ...be sure to have clearance...

That's why they are the way they are. Plus I have short arms, and I just like the way they look when they're on this way.

Following the herd is a good way to become a sheep...

Hey if they work for you that's great. And yes getting clearance at the tank with them the other way is an issue unless they are made specially for the 11 like in the old days. I have a pair like those and will have to bend them upward a little if i want ot use them.
How are they on your wrists that way? Do they tend to turn your wrists outward?

          wrists

Actually no. They feel very comfortable. They give me a better angle than the stock bars did. Of course with bars this small at an angle they will turn your wrists a little, but I like it. It feels natural.

          Best $10 I've spent in a while.

            Nice bars

            Hi Kurt,
nice looking machine, and if the bars fit you as good as they look on the bike you done well. So where can a person get those big ol' 3 tuning fork decals? I'm too cheap to replace my busted up stock tank badges and the aftermarket self-adhesive 3TF buttons my dealer sells for $5 each are kinda teensy for a gas tank although they are sized OK for the side panels.

I guess that would depend on your intentions, wouldn't it.

Of course not. Forced marriage is illegal in Colorado. However, the offspring must be raised in the Baptist faith.

You know, sheep jokes should be Baa-nned. Course you know what the shepard's motto is don't you? One in the fence is worth two in the field. Ok I'm done now.

They generally pay more attention to the horses. It's easy to hide sheep in tall grass.

I hear some farmers will let the horse return the favor if they catch anyone.

Craigslist, do you want them? I'd be happy to trade them for some different ones. I'm in too bad of shape to ride with these.
