Key troubles...

I thought that I had made a duplicate of my key, but I was wrong. And now I have lost it. Does anyone know how to make a key from the code or does anyone have a set of cap and switch with a key that they can sell me?

No No. I think you misunderstood. The key was actually stuck in my tire.

I was working on the door last night and I must have dropped the key, then ran it over

I keep a spare in my wallet, and a duplicate for the disc lock in my tool kit, which is locked in the side cover.
It occurred to me that the spare key ain't gonna hep much with that big old clamp on my rear disc.

Key codes

Yamaha still makes keys for these old machines. All they need is the number off of the ignition switch or gas cap lock.

Yeah I know. The key is always the last thing on my mind... obviously. I thought I had a dup , but no.

My dad always gets mad at me for it. I do the same thing with my cars. (He's a locksmith) I guess it's that rebelion thing that I have not got rid of yet. Or maybe I'm just terrible with keys.

I haven't lost the keys to the shop at work yet!! I did leave them on my roof when I went through a car wash last week Man I am just bad with keys.

Any of you electronic whiz's out there have a design for a GPS locator for keys?

I have a 5" scar on the back of my hand as a reminder to not forget the keys. The scar is still quite visible even after 30 years (it was the first time I'd seen my own bones and tendons and other stuff).
Of course the window broke on accident. If I'd have meant to break it I would have thrown something through it from a good distance away.

Yes your local locksmith should be able to cut a key from the code off the number on the top part of the Ignition. I had to have on cut because I lost mine also. The first on was about $10.00 and the next one was $2.00.
