If you have a K&N or stock air filter, you can flow more air with a few hole drilled in the PROPER LOCATION in the air box. The filter flows the air from the INSIDE to the outside, and then into the carbs. The location and size of the holes would be the CENTER of the bottom half of the airbox, and about 4 to 6 1/2" holes.
If you want to do this, remove the lower half of the airbox, as if you are cleaning the filter. Look down at the mount for the filter, and drill so the holes are in the CENTER of the filter. This will help a little with the breathing, without the noise of pod filters.Ray Matteis

It will lean it out, but just a little. I also have a kerker and K&N on Daily Ride. I've set the jetting for the kerker. so it runs well. Check you spark plugs if in doubt, but it should not change the carb sync. setting at all.Ray Matteis
