  • Gauge synchronizer

As anyone used jc whitneys 4 gauge carb synchronizer part # zx8813t? Is it any good, i need to buy one and i would like to have gauges over mercury. Or where can i get one fairly cheap.
And do you need those special adjusting tools that look like long screwdrivers. Also where can i get a yics tool?
I know they show one to make on this site, i have that printed out.

    Thanks Tom

I use the JCWhitney vacuum gauges and am happy with them. They have the valves built-in and are pretty easy to set up. They fit well on the handlebars, too.

I think the adjusting tool is just a long screwdriver, but I haven't ever seen one. I carved a regular long screwdriver up with a grinder until the tip was a perfect fit for the slot in the idle screw heads.

Don't know about the YICS though. There is a tech tip for making your own on this site but it's missing the picture. I found a reprint of it here:
