Help!!!! I am putting my bike back together since I removed the carbs back in November and I am not sure now of the routing of the hoses, I have a hose directly connected to the advance unit to #2 carb, petcocks connected to intake manifolds, one big crankcase breather connected to the airbox. Now I have a tee with two hoses connected to it (one chrome line) I have no idea where this goes, it also has a bracket on it I think was bolted to the airbox mount. Anyone know where all the hoses should be??? 1980 XS1100 Std. Sorry I can't remember, I am getting a bit old, LOL Also need a good set of carbs off a running bike!!!! Mine are still all messed up even with lots of new parts!!!! Thanks in advance, Kim

    Hi Kim

The hose that mounted to the top airbox mount is the middle gear vent hose. The hose should originate down on the engine very close to the big crankcase vent hose. There is a covert that bolts to the engine right behind where the serial number is stamped into the engine case. There should also be a hose from the nipple on the rear of the fuel tank that is routed down near the swing arm. What is wrong with the carbs? Isn't the bike in OKC?
